Samsung recently took the wraps off the Galaxy S25 series, and while the new phones bring a number of upgrades including a more powerful chipset in the form of the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, not everyone can afford to shell out $799.99 for a new phone. If you don't mind a slightly older phone, the Galaxy S24 FE is available at a discounted price right for a limited time.
When the Galaxy S24 FE was announced in October 2024, it cost $649 for the base model with 128GB of storage and $709 for the 256GB version. For a limited time, Amazon is offering a 15% discount on the phone bringing the price down to $549 for the 128GB version and $599 for the 256GB variant. The phone is also available to buy at these prices on Samsung.com.
While this isn't the cheapest the Galaxy S24 FE has ever sold for, it is still a deal worth grabbing.
In our review of the phone, we liked the main camera, long software support (seven years of OS upgrades and software updates), and build quality which includes Gorilla Glass Victus on both sides and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
The Galaxy S24 FE has a 6.7'' FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, an Exynos 2400e processor, and 8GB of RAM. Its rear cameras are a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide angle camera. It also has a 10MP front-facing camera. It has a fingerprint scanner but it is the optical type and not ultrasonic. It also has 4700mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
