There is no shortage of mobile monitors, some of which are also available at reasonable prices. As part of a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter, FaSuH is a new touchscreen model that comes with a very unusual aspect ratio. Specifically, it measures 14 inches diagonally, but has a resolution of 2,560 x 720 and so a 32:9 format. The display itself is unlikely to be a breakthrough in terms of general display quality, but it is intended more as an additional display for increasing productivity. It can be used to display messengers or even parts of a table. The company is also working on the display of videos.
In terms of connectivity, FaSuH comes with one mini HDMI and/or two USB-C ports with full functionality as well as a 3.5 mm jack socket. The monitor's angle is not only adjustable with a suitable stand, but it can also be used in pivot mode. The peak brightness value is given as 350 cd/m² and full coverage of the sRGB color space is also advertised, along with a decent response time of 40 milliseconds.
As part of a crowdfunding campaign, supporters who contribute $199 or more are promised delivery in August. However, crowdfunding campaigns typically harbor certain risks and there is no guarantee that the said product will indeed make it to market.
