Samsung has been selling officially re-newed Galaxy S series smartphones for a couple of years now. Today, it has announced that it is expanding its line of Certified Re-Newed devices with the addition of the Galaxy S24 series.
According to Samsung, the re-newed Galaxy S24 series smartphones offer a like-new phone experience. It also states that the phones are assembled by Samsung engineers and feature a brand-new battery and 100% genuine parts. The phones also come with a one-year manufacturer warranty, and buyers can also sign up for its Samsung Care+ service. Each Galaxy S24 re-newed model will come in a retail box that indicates it is a renewed phone.
Samsung will offer renewed units of all three Galaxy S24 series smartphones which include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and the stylus-toting Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, they will only be available to buy in one color despite the phones launching in seven colors when they were announced in 2024.
Below is the color, storage option, and pricing for each re-newed Galaxy S24 model:
- The Galaxy S24 Certified Re-newed will be available in Onyx Black and the option of 128GB of storage or 256GB of storage. The former will cost $619.99 while the 256GB variant will sell for $669.99.
- The Galaxy S24 Plus Certified Re-newed will also be available in Onyx Black. The 128GB version will sell for $799.00 while the 512GB version will cost $919.99.
- The Galaxy S24 Ultra Certified Re-newed will be available in Titanium Black and buyers will be able to choose between a 256GB version that sells for $1019.99 or a 512GB variant that costs $1,139.99.
The certified Re-newed Galaxy S24 series are available to buy now as a Samsung store-exclusive. However, whether people will choose them over a brand new Galaxy S25 series smartphone such as the Galaxy S25 Plus which is currently available on Amazon for $879.98 (256GB) remains to be seen.
