The iPhone 16 is the smallest and least powerful variant of its 2024 Apple flagship line-up, yet offers the series' most eye-catching colors, Pink, Teal and Ultramarine (currently available SIM-unlocked with 128GB of internal storage for just under $720 in Renewed Premium form) included.
Despite their vibrancy, the Cupertino giant might have dropped at least one of them in the upcoming 17, according to its latest alleged render. It indicates that the allegedly upcoming smartphone will look almost identical to the 16 in the back - except that it will come in Lavender instead.
The shade of purple shown in the new image may or may not match real-world units of the 17 exactly. The new leak hints that it might be exclusive to the non-Pro device, and not found in other variants such as its potentially ground-breaking Air variant.
The device is thought to launch as a profoundly iterative upgrade for the 16 in 2025 otherwise - although it might be slightly lighter and slimmer than Apple's current vanilla flagship.
